Assistant IT Support Job Description
Key Requirements of the Job:
The holder of the position is responsible to provide IT support and services in the company
including networks services, computer hardware and software systems installations,
troubleshooting, repair and maintenance to required standards in compliance with all
applicable policies, procedures and requirements of the company
Main Duties:
- Perform installation of hardware and software components in office computers and
computerized devices - Schedule plan of daily survey of terminals and offices to check networks, computers and
systems functioning. - Provide support to staff and other members of organization on computer related
technical assistance - Prepare and maintain records of computers available in the offices and their
specifications - Keep records of computers and computerized devices purchases
- Keep records of computers and network systems repair and maintenance
- Prepare and share daily, weekly and monthly reports to management on IT functions in
the company - Ensure to follow relevant company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.
Other Special Requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in IT roles.
- A good working knowledge of Computer software and hardware systems
- MS Office Programs
