Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fleet management activities, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement UNHCR’s fleet management strategies for asset procurement and maintenance.
- Conduct spend analyses and assist with procurement planning.
- Develop local fleet replacement strategies aligning with organizational goals.
- Monitor compliance with UNHCR’s global fleet management policies and standards.
- Prepare detailed fleet management reports and maintain accurate data systems.
- Coordinate and train implementing partners on fleet operations and adherence to guidelines.
- Manage fleet-related risks and support field offices with technical advice.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications and Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Additional training or certifications in fleet management are an advantage.
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in logistics, transportation, customs clearance, or procurement.
- Prior experience with humanitarian organizations, particularly UNHCR, is preferred.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with publishing tools.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and reporting abilities.
- Interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Languages:
- Fluent in English.

- Possess an international driver’s license.
