Atlantic Micro Credit Limited is looking for full-time Cashiers to join their team in Dar es Salaam, with positions starting in September 2024.

Job Description:

  1. Processing: Handle customer transactions using cash registers.
  2. Scanning: Ensure goods are scanned and priced correctly.
  3. Collecting: Accept payments via cash or credit.
  4. Issuing: Provide receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
  5. Redeeming: Process coupons and stamps.
  6. Promoting: Cross-sell products and introduce new ones to customers.
  7. Resolving: Address customer complaints, offer guidance, and provide relevant information.
  8. Greeting: Welcome customers as they enter and exit the store.
  9. Maintaining: Keep checkout areas clean and organized.
  10. Tracking: Record transactions on balance sheets and report discrepancies.
  11. Packing: Bag, box, or gift-wrap purchased items.
  12. Handling: Manage merchandise returns and exchanges.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: At least one year of experience as a cashier or teller.
  • Skills: Basic computer skills, strong mathematical abilities, and customer service experience.
  • Attention to Detail: Required for accurate transactions and reports.
  • Location: Must reside in or near the Mbagala area.
