Role: Credit Analyst Manager

We are seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Credit Analyst Manager to join our vibrant team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This full-time position entails on-site responsibilities focused on evaluating credit data and financial statements to gauge lending risks, overseeing a team of credit analysts, and ensuring strict adherence to credit policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze Credit Data: Evaluate credit data and financial statements to assess lending risks effectively.
• Policy Development: Devise and implement credit policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory guidelines. Monitor loan portfolios, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure rigorous compliance with both internal protocols and external credit regulations.
• Collaboration: Foster collaboration with various departments to support overall business objectives effectively.

Qualifications

• Expertise: Strong proficiency in credit management and finance.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical capabilities with a knack for interpreting financial statements.
• Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of credit principles and risk assessment within the financial services sector.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA (T) qualification is advantageous.
• Desirable Skills: Familiarity with the Expected Credit Loss (ECL) Model is highly preferred.
