Position: Internal Auditor Officer

Tindwa Medical and Health Service is a prominent organization in the healthcare sector, seeking a skilled Internal Auditor to join their team. The role involves reviewing and analyzing financial and corporate records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Cycle: Perform full audit cycles, including risk management and control management over operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with regulations.
- Audit Planning: Determine the scope of internal audits and develop annual audit plans.
- Data Analysis: Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed audit reports reflecting results and document processes.
- Advisory Role: Act as an independent advisor to ensure legality, validity, and goal achievement.
- Risk Management: Identify loopholes and recommend measures for risk aversion and cost savings.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee.
- Documentation: Document processes and prepare audit findings memoranda.
- Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up audits to monitor the implementation of management interventions.
- Continuous Learning: Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, and best practices.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven working experience as an Internal Auditor.
- Skills: Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases; ability to handle large amounts of data and compile detailed reports; strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certification: Professional certification such as CPA(T) or equivalent experience, or working towards a professional certification.
- Skills: High attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and sound independent judgment.
