Job Vacancy Announcement: Kilosa District Council

The Executive Director of Kilosa District Council has received approval for replacement employment for the 2023/2024 staffing plan from the Permanent Secretary of the President’s Office, Public Service Management and Good Governance. Approval reference: FA.170/361/01/“B”/102, dated August 14, 2024. Accordingly, all qualified Tanzanians are invited to apply for the following job positions:

General Requirements for Applicants:

1. Nationality and Age:
   All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged between 18 and 45 years.
2. Encouragement for Applicants with Disabilities:
   Persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should clearly specify their disability in the application system for the information of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
3. Curriculum Vitae (CV):
   Applicants must attach a detailed CV that includes a valid address, active phone numbers, and a functional email address. Additionally, they should provide the names of three reliable referees.
4. Public Service Employees:
   Applicants who are already in public service and possess qualifications to transition into a different cadre must submit their applications through their current employers. These employers must approve the applications accordingly.
5. Certified Education and Professional Certificates:
   All applications must include verified copies of educational and professional certificates, certified by a recognized lawyer. These certificates should include Form Four and Form Six certificates (where applicable) as well as certificates from completed courses relevant to the position applied for.
6. Required Documents:
   Applicants must attach the following:
   • Diploma/Certificate
   • Form Four (IV) and Form Six (VI) certificates
   • Computer Certificate
   • Professional certificates from relevant boards
   Note: Testimonials, “Provisional Results,” and “Statement of Results” (Form IV and Form VI result slips) will not be accepted.
7. International Education Credentials:
   Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and recognized by the relevant authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
8. Retired Public Servants:
   Retired individuals from public service are not eligible to apply unless they have obtained special permission from the Chief Secretary.
9. Already Employed Applicants:
   Applicants who are already employed in similar public service positions should not apply. They are required to adhere to the directives outlined in Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140, dated November 30, 2010.
10. Forgery and Legal Consequences:
    Applicants submitting false information or forged documents will face legal action.
11. Application Deadline:
    The deadline for submitting job applications is October 14, 2024.
12. Application Submission:
