Position Overview
The Area Collections Executive role offers a unique opportunity to manage field collections, improve customer payment compliance, and contribute to the health of Sun King’s solar loan portfolio. The successful candidate will work within Sun King’s Corporate Risk team, focusing on collections for PAYG products.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on assigned accounts weekly for payments or repossession.
- Ensure ownership transfers for resold units are completed.
- Report fraudulent activities in the field, such as device tampering or agent fraud.
- Train Energy Officers on repossession and collections.
- Review area portfolio trends to improve collection rates.
- Conduct market visits to verify sales quality and gather insights.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree or diploma in finance, community development, communication, credit risk management, or similar fields.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role, preferably in Microfinance/Fintech or banking.
- Skills: Critical thinking, strong communication, and people skills.
- Field Enthusiasm: Willingness to drive collections and enhance customer experience on-site.
