Role Summary:
The Assistant Manager will manage daily safety and loss prevention operations, including policy implementation, incident management, and staff supervision. This role is integral to ensuring guest, staff, and asset security.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise security personnel and ensure adherence to policies.
- Train and evaluate staff for optimal performance.
- Maintain security policies, crisis plans, and compliance protocols.
- Coordinate with law enforcement and local agencies as needed.
- Manage emergency responses and ensure staff preparedness.
- Oversee physical security, key inventory, and fire systems.
- Conduct safety training and periodic fire drills.
- Address guest complaints professionally.
- Monitor and improve departmental operations.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory security role; hospitality experience preferred.
- Skills:
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- First Aid certified.
