About the Location:
The Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti offers a unique experience in the heart of the world-renowned Serengeti. Overlooking an animal watering hole and surrounded by untamed landscapes, the lodge is home to the Big Five and other magnificent wildlife. This stunning property includes 77 accommodations, three restaurants, a spa, fitness center, and an interactive Discovery Centre showcasing Serengeti’s history, wildlife, and culture.
Role Overview:
The Director of People & Culture will oversee all human resource operations, driving the People, Culture, and Learning strategies for the Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti. Reporting to the General Manager and the Regional Director of People & Culture, this individual will ensure the property is recognized as an Employer of Choice in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Cultural Advocate of the Golden Rule in all employee-related activities.
- Champion talent acquisition, succession planning, and career development.
- Act as a strategic Business Partner, collaborating with leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
- Implement and evaluate People & Culture programs and initiatives.
- Analyze compensation and benefits trends to maintain a balance between costs and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee development processes.
- Deliver learning and development programs to enhance workplace performance and engagement.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, excellence, and collaboration across the property.
- Drive corporate HR initiatives and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
