Job Overview – EHOD Central

The EHOD Central role is a high-impact position responsible for developing and implementing regional strategies that align with Vodacom’s Consumer Business Unit (CBU) objectives. This role involves overseeing regional operations, managing key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth across different business units, including CBU, M-Pesa, VBU, and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Manage the full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for the region.
✔ Act as the key representative of Vodacom Tanzania in the region, engaging with stakeholders from both public and private sectors.
✔ Lead strategic execution across marketing, sales, emerging markets, and technology.
✔ Oversee commercial CapEx and OpEx management, ensuring financial discipline.
✔ Enhance network quality and coverage while monitoring competitive market trends.
✔ Drive cross-functional collaboration between different business units.
✔ Ensure brand strength and customer loyalty through high-quality service and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, strategy, or commercial leadership.
✔ Proven expertise in telecommunications, sales, and distribution.
✔ Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
✔ Excellent leadership and people management abilities.
✔ Effective problem-solving skills with a results-driven approach.
✔ Strong communication and influencing skills.
✔ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and matrix-based organization.
✔ A recognized technical or business qualification (a postgraduate degree is an advantage).
