Job Title: Knowledge Management and Grants Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Coordination with NGO:
- Work with the microfinance operations, digital, and product development teams for effective project implementation.
- Organize and attend coordination meetings with NGO counterparts, ensuring action-oriented agendas and follow-ups.
- Train and guide field staff on integrated program delivery.
- Resolve coordination issues between field staff and stakeholders.
Knowledge Management:
- Collaborate with the product, social performance, and digital teams to document insights and lessons learned.
- Share operational challenges and insights with management to support decision-making.
- Assist in creating high-quality knowledge products (e.g., case studies, blogs, reports).
- Act as the focal point for knowledge management, ensuring proper use of knowledge hubs.
- Manage and validate content in the country-specific knowledge hubs.
- Provide training to staff on knowledge hub usage and organize refresher sessions.
- Conduct annual learning surveys and drive culture shifts towards knowledge management.
Grant Management and Reporting:
- Represent microfinance in grant management meetings.
- Coordinate with teams (Finance, Operations, IT, Monitoring) for drafting financial and narrative reports.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality grant reports.
Safeguarding:
- Ensure the safety of all team members from harm and exploitation.
- Promote safeguarding standards and reporting procedures across the organization.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Development Studies.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the development sector, preferably in microfinance.
- Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of validating, storing, and managing digital knowledge content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other knowledge management databases.
- Ability to interpret financial data and prepare grant reports.
- Personal Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working in cross-cultural environments.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Familiarity with microfinance is preferred.
