Marketing Officer

About Good Neighbors Tanzania:

Good Neighbors Tanzania is a humanitarian development NGO established in 2005, committed to protecting children’s rights and promoting sustainable community development.

Position Objective:

The Marketing Officer will manage AMCOS (Agricultural Marketing Cooperative Societies) business and marketing activities under the KOICA coffee project aimed at empowering coffee producers in the Mbozi District through climate change adaptation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily administrative tasks, including expense reporting, invoicing, and inventory management.
• Develop and communicate project plans, schedules, and priorities.
• Ensure project activities align with KOICA and Tanzanian Government policies.
• Prepare bi-annual operational and financial reports for the KOICA coffee project.
• Provide technical support for AMCOS marketing strategies and business development.
• Promote AMCOS marketing initiatives under the KOICA coffee project.
• Develop partnerships with organizations supporting small business development and financial planning.
• Represent the organization in stakeholder meetings with Tanzania Coffee Board (TCB) and other key partners.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Social Business, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in social economy, cooperative business, or related fields.
• Strong skills in project proposal writing and reporting.
• Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent in both English and Kiswahili.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and international environment.

Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable based on funding, performance, and mutual agreement)
