The Secretary of the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat, on behalf of Local Government Authorities (LGAs), invites applications from qualified Tanzanians to fill 2,611 job positions as specified in this announcement.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Nationality & Age:

   • Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens.
   • The maximum age limit is 45 years, except for those already employed in government service.

2. Encouragement for Persons with Disabilities:

   • Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
   • They must indicate the nature of their disability in the application system for proper consideration by the Recruitment Secretariat.

3. Birth Certificate Requirement:

   • All applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate, verified by a legal officer or advocate.

4. Public Servants Applying for a Different Cadre:

   • Those already employed in the public sector and seeking a career change must submit their applications through their respective employers for verification and approval.

5. Comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV):

   • Applicants must submit a detailed CV containing reliable contact details, including phone numbers and three referees who can be contacted for verification.

6. Academic & Professional Certificates:

   • All applications must include certified copies of academic and professional certificates. Required documents include:
     • Birth Certificate
     • Certificates for Ordinary Level (Form IV) and Advanced Level (Form VI) (where applicable)
     • Certificates of completion for professional training relevant to the position applied for
     • Higher education qualifications (Postgraduate, Degree, Advanced Diploma, Diploma, and Certificates)
     • Additional Certificates:
       • Computer literacy certificate (if available)
       • Professional accreditation certificates from relevant boards

7. Unacceptable Documents:

   • Testimonials, provisional results, statement of results, or Form IV & VI result slips will NOT be considered.

8. Verification of Foreign Academic Qualifications:

   • Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are authenticated by the appropriate authorities (TCU, NECTA, NACTE).

9. Retired Public Servants:

   • Individuals who have retired from government service are not eligible to apply unless they have written approval from the Chief Secretary.

10. Current Public Servants:

• Those already employed in government positions on an entry-level basis should NOT apply, as per Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated November 30, 2010.

11. False Information & Legal Consequences:

• Any applicant found to have submitted false information or forged documents will face legal action.

12. Application Deadline:

• All applications must be submitted by February 20, 2025.
