Tabono Consult is looking for a dynamic and skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Troubleshooting technical issues related to hardware, software, and system solutions.
- Diagnosing and repairing system faults, errors, and malfunctions.
- Installing and configuring hardware and software for clients and internal teams.
- Communicating effectively with customers to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- Guiding clients through step-by-step actions to address technical problems.
- Providing accurate and timely feedback to clients during and after issue resolution.
- Following up with clients to ensure problems are resolved and their needs are met.
- Assisting with the rollout of new solutions, including testing and implementation.
- Creating clear and concise procedural documentation for technical processes.
- Managing multiple technical cases simultaneously with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Testing and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance services and solutions.
- Actively participating in team discussions, learning sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a technical support role.
- Certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is required.
- Certification in Project Management is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in technical support, software design/support, or similar roles.
Skills & Expertise:
- Strong proficiency in operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
- Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with trending technologies, particularly open-source solutions.
Personal Qualities:
- High level of personal integrity and professionalism.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with a proactive attitude toward learning and collaboration.
