Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to hardware, software, and system solutions.
  • Diagnosing and repairing system faults, errors, and malfunctions.
  • Installing and configuring hardware and software for clients and internal teams.
  • Communicating effectively with customers to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Guiding clients through step-by-step actions to address technical problems.
  • Providing accurate and timely feedback to clients during and after issue resolution.
  • Following up with clients to ensure problems are resolved and their needs are met.
  • Assisting with the rollout of new solutions, including testing and implementation.
  • Creating clear and concise procedural documentation for technical processes.
  • Managing multiple technical cases simultaneously with efficiency and attention to detail.
  • Testing and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance services and solutions.
  • Actively participating in team discussions, learning sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Certification in ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is required.
  • Certification in Project Management is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in technical support, software design/support, or similar roles.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong proficiency in operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and Mac OS.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with trending technologies, particularly open-source solutions.

  • High level of personal integrity and professionalism.
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
