JWTZ yatangaza Nafasi za Kuandikishwa Jeshini

Jeshi la Wananchi wa Tanzania (JWTZ) has announced recruitment opportunities for Tanzanian youth with secondary to higher education.

The vacancies were announced today, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, by the Acting Director of Information and Public Relations of the JWTZ, Colonel Gaudentius Ilonda, while speaking to journalists at the army headquarters in Dodoma.

He said the vacancies are for young medical professionals including specialists in the fields of surgery, orthopedic surgery, prostate and urinary tract diseases, X-ray, MRI, CT, ear, nose and throat, sleep, internal medicine, ophthalmology, and oncology.

Others are medical examiners, psychiatrists, emergency services, hematologists, veterinarians, medical and medical equipment engineers, dental laboratory specialists, and passenger health doctors and flight attendants.

Colonel Ilonda also mentioned that others needed are aluminum welding, welding and metal fabrication technicians.

He mentioned the qualifications of applicants as including being a Tanzanian with a National ID, being in good health and sound mind and not having been convicted of any criminal offense in court and imprisoned.

“They must have an original birth certificate, school certificates and professional certificates. They must not have served in the Police Force, Prisons, Training College or the Anti-Smuggling Force,” he said.
