JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT
The Inspector General of Police of Tanzania announces job opportunities for Tanzanian youths with educational qualifications ranging from Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, Certificate, Form Six, and Form Four who meet the following requirements:
1. Applicant Requirements
a) Must be a Tanzanian citizen by birth.
b) Both parents must be Tanzanian citizens by birth.
c) Must have completed Form Four or Form Six between 2019 and 2024.
d) Applicants with Form Four, Form Six, or Certificate qualifications must be between 18 and 25 years old.
e) Form Four applicants must have passed with Division I – IV. Those with Division IV must have between 26 and 28 points.
f) Form Six applicants must have passed with Division I – III.
g) Graduates with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma must be between 18 and 30 years old.
h) Male applicants must have a minimum height of 5 feet 8 inches (5’8”), and female applicants must be at least 5 feet 4 inches (5’4”).
i) Must have a National ID or NIDA identification number.
j) Must be fluent in both Kiswahili and English.
k) Must be physically and mentally fit, as certified by a government doctor.
l) Must be single and have no children.
m) Must not have used any type of illegal drugs.
n) Must be willing to attend basic Police training.
o) Must not be employed or have previous employment in any government institution.
p) Must be ready to work anywhere in Tanzania.
q) Must be willing to cover all expenses related to the recruitment process.
r) Must not have any tattoos.
s) Must have no criminal record.
t) Applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree (NTA Level 8), Diploma (NTA Level 6), or Certificate (NTA Level 5 or NVA Level 3) must have qualifications in the specified fields listed in the job announcement.
