Through community-based programs and maternal health services, including obstetric fistula repairs, CCBRT plays a pivotal role in creating accessible healthcare for some of the most vulnerable populations in the region. With a dedicated Maternity and Newborn Wing, it serves as a critical referral center for high-risk deliveries across the Dar es Salaam and Eastern Tanzania regions.
The Role of Payroll Administrator
CCBRT is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic finance team. As a key member of the Human Resources (HR) team, the Payroll Administrator will oversee and manage payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end payroll process, from salary disbursements to statutory deductions and benefits.
- Maintaining accurate payroll records and reports, coordinating with accounting teams for timely payments.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, labor laws, and best payroll practices.
- Supporting monthly payroll openings and closures, delivering accurate reports and financial analyses.
- Facilitating audits by providing necessary documentation and records.
- Collaborating with the HR team on other financial-related matters.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organized, and possesses a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
- Registration with the NBAA (Tanzanian National Board of Accountants and Auditors) is an added advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, including balancing, tax compliance, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in payroll software (experience with ARUTI is a plus).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
