JOB VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Secretary of the Secretariat of Employment in Public Service, on behalf of the Ministry of Health, invites applications from qualified Tanzanian citizens to fill 231 job vacancies as outlined in this announcement.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Nationality & Age: Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and not exceed 45 years of age, except for those already employed in the government sector.
2. Disability Consideration: Applicants with disabilities are encouraged to apply and should indicate their specific disability in the recruitment system for the Secretariat’s reference.
3. Birth Certificate: Applicants must attach a certified copy of their birth certificate, verified by a Lawyer/Attorney.
4. Curriculum Vitae (CV): Applications must include a detailed CV with valid contact details and three (3) referees who can be contacted for verification.
5. Academic & Professional Certificates: Applicants must attach certified copies of the following:
   • Birth certificate
   • Form IV & Form VI certificates (where applicable)
   • Professional certificates from recognized boards
   • Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma/Certificate qualifications
   • Computer certificate (if required for the job)
   • Other relevant academic qualifications as per the job requirements
6. Invalid Documents: The following will not be accepted:
   • Testimonials
   • Provisional results
   • Statement of results
   • Form IV and Form VI results slips
7. Foreign Education Certification: Applicants who studied outside Tanzania must ensure their certificates are verified and approved by the appropriate authorities (TCU, NECTA, and NACTE).
8. Retired Public Servants: Retired individuals from public service are not eligible to apply, unless they have special clearance from the Chief Secretary.
9. Current Public Servants: Those already employed in government entry positions should not apply and must follow the guidelines outlined in Circular No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30th November 2010.
10. False Information: Submission of false documents or information will result in legal action.
11. Application Deadline: The deadline for submitting applications is 19th March 2025.
