Role Overview: Physiotherapist
We are looking for a skilled Physiotherapist to join our expanding rehabilitation team. As a physiotherapist at CCBRT, you will play a key role in providing high-quality physiotherapy services to clients, helping them improve their mobility, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Exceptional Care: Provide quality physiotherapy services, including assessment, treatment, and patient education, based on CCBRT’s guidelines and protocols.
  • Client Education & Counseling: Offer counseling and guidance to patients, their families, and caregivers on managing disabilities and maximizing rehabilitation potential.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other physiotherapists and community workers, including LSTs, to support and enhance the delivery of rehabilitation services.
  • Tailored Rehabilitation Plans: Develop and execute individualized rehabilitation plans, setting clear goals and ensuring interventions are aligned with patient needs.
  • Group Interventions & Training: Organize group instruction sessions and interventions, targeting specific conditions and pathologies.
  • Assist with Equipment Needs: Assess the need for postural supports, mobility aids, and other necessary equipment for patients, ensuring timely provision.
  • Administrative Support: Participate in the preparation of performance reports and manage patient records as per CCBRT guidelines.

Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking a qualified physiotherapist who is passionate about rehabilitation and committed to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities. You should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.
  • Licensed Physiotherapist, registered with the Medical Council of Tanganyika.
  • Member of the Association of Physiotherapists in Tanzania.
  • Competence in using electrotherapy machines for rehabilitation.
  • Specialized training (e.g., CP Management, Back Pain Management) is a plus.
  • Proficient in using computer software and managing patient records.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Swahili.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
  • A pro-active attitude and willingness to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
