Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
- Lead sales of tractors, fertilizers, seeds, and agrochemicals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve ambitious targets.
- Build robust networks with farmers, dealers, and agricultural cooperatives.
- Drive market penetration by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
Customer Relationships & Loan Management:
- Partner with financial institutions to facilitate farmer financing options.
- Educate farmers about loans and support the approval process.
- Collaborate with local governments on agricultural financing initiatives.
Team Leadership & Support:
- Manage and mentor a team of sales representatives.
- Deliver training on products and sales techniques.
- Report performance metrics and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Market Analysis & Networking:
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at trade shows and agricultural events.
- Collaborate with local government on subsidies and agricultural programs.
What You Bring to the Table
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
- Certifications in agricultural finance or agribusiness management are a plus.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in agricultural sales, with expertise in tractor and input sales.
- Proven success in managing large-scale farmers and agricultural loan programs.
- Experience working with financial institutions and local governments.
Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
