About the Role of Retail Banking Product Champion
Job Purpose:
The Retail Banking Product Specialist has the primary responsibility to drive business growth across assigned retail products at all MHB branches. As the Product Champion, they support Relationship Officers and develop strategies to enhance retail customer portfolios, launching new products to fill market gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the entire retail customer portfolio across all MHB branches.
- Develop strategies to increase product penetration, profitability, and customer satisfaction within the retail segment.
- Evaluate portfolio risks, minimize non-performing assets, and maintain portfolio quality.
- Recruit new companies for consumer lending and manage credit proposals.
- Guide Relationship Officers and DSAs to ensure a robust retail customer base.
- Prepare and analyze sales performance and business reports, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor risk and debt collection while expanding relationships with retail customers.
Key Competencies and Requirements:
A. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, or related fields. MBA preferred.
B. Required Experience:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in documentation, process management, and credit risk assessment.
- Knowledge of banking policies, compliance standards, and market dynamics.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data, with excellent planning and organizational skills.
C. Required Knowledge and Skills:
