The company is looking for a Marketing Officer to join their team, someone with experience in managing teams, creating and executing marketing strategies, and driving business growth.
Purpose of the Position:
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for conducting market research, identifying sales opportunities, and evaluating customer needs. The role involves seeking out new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and social media. The successful candidate will also develop persuasive marketing materials and build strong relationships within prospect organizations to create an active sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential sales opportunities and understand customer needs.
- Sales Outreach: Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Marketing Materials: Create effective marketing materials, including emails, proposals, bids, website content, brochures, and marketing videos.
- Customer Relationship Management: Develop relationships at various levels within prospect organizations to create a strong sales pipeline.
- Product Development: Research and propose new product and service designs based on customer insights.
- Technical Presentations: Present and explain the technical aspects of security solutions to clients as needed.
- Sales Strategy: Formulate and implement sales policies, practices, and procedures, and develop business plans to expand the company’s customer base.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of progressive sales experience within the security industry, with field sales experience, particularly in selling guarding services.
- Age Limit: Candidates should be not more than 45 years of age.
- Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proposal and report writing abilities.
- Good negotiation and strategic prospecting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other computer applications.
- High knowledge of IT is an added advantage.
