CRDB Bank is inviting applications for the position of Senior Manager, Securities Brokerage Services in the Department of Treasury at the Tanzania Head Office. This is a permanent, full-time role for an experienced financial professional with a strong background in brokerage, wealth management, and advisory services.
Job Purpose:
The Senior Manager will oversee all brokerage, advisory, and wealth management services, aiming to maximize returns for both the bank and its clients. The role involves ensuring that all brokerage activities comply with regulations and standards, while actively participating in the bank’s business development initiatives to drive growth.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Provide overall direction for brokerage, advisory, and wealth management services, ensuring corporate objectives are met and sustained profitability.
- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to increase CRDB Capital’s market share and profitability.
- Client Advisory: Analyze market trends, advise clients on investment opportunities and risks, and provide personalized financial planning services.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with securities regulations and implement risk management strategies to minimize losses.
- Client Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders to foster business growth.
- Investment Research: Monitor financial markets and identify investment opportunities for clients across various securities and investment products.
- Talent Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team in line with the bank’s meritocratic and transparent culture.
Qualifications Required:
- Certification: Certified by CMSA and completion of the Securities Industry Certification Course (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably in investment advisory or securities trading.
- Additional Training: Completion of Securities Investment and Trading course (DSE).
- Skills: Proficiency in financial software, strong analytical and communication skills, a proven track record in managing client portfolios, and experience with local and foreign investors.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills: Expertise in understanding client needs and matching them with the bank’s product offerings.
