Role Overview: Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
We are searching for dedicated and experienced Obstetricians & Gynaecologists to enhance our team and provide top-tier healthcare for mothers and newborns. As a Specialist in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at CCBRT, you will be an integral part of our maternal and newborn healthcare services, working in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care Excellence: Conduct comprehensive examinations, gather medical histories, perform diagnostic tests, and provide personalized care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
  • Surgical Expertise: Perform a range of obstetric and gynecological surgical procedures as required, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care.
  • Health Education & Prevention: Educate patients on reproductive health, prevention, and early detection of diseases, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and surgery options, contributing to the overall well-being of patients.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate care quality through prenatal audits, ensuring compliance with established standards and improving patient outcomes.
  • Training & Mentorship: Play a key role in training new staff and participating in ongoing educational programs to continuously improve the capabilities of our team.

Who We’re Looking For:
You are an experienced and compassionate Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with the following qualifications:

  • MD with a Master’s Degree in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from a reputable institution.
  • Proven hands-on experience in both outpatient and inpatient care, with a focus on surgical interventions.
  • Active registration with the Tanganyika Medical Council, with a valid license to practice in Tanzania.
  • Strong communication skills, proficient in Kiswahili and English.
  • Exceptional patient care skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Computer proficiency, comfortable using medical software and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
