Position: Accountant

Evolve People Solutions

Location: Siha, Kilimanjaro

About the Role:

We are looking for an energetic and well-organised accounting professional to manage financial operations, ensure compliance, and support site-level administration. This role requires strong technical accounting skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate financial statements, tax returns, and management reports
Maintain financial records, ledgers, and bank reconciliations
Develop budgets, monitor expenditure, and prepare financial forecasts
Analyse financial data, identify risks, and recommend cost-saving measures
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legal requirements
Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
Oversee site-level procurement and ensure adherence to procurement policies
Manage security and administration teams and ensure compliance with SOPs and KPIs

Qualifications & Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Professional certification required (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
Minimum of 3 years’ active accounting experience
Strong computer skills with sound knowledge of Sage Evolution Accounting Package
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience leading teams in diverse cultural environments
Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Siha, Kilimanjaro region
