Position: Graduate HR Officer
Location: Geita Gold Mine, Geita
Position Purpose:
Graduate HR Officer will play a vital role within HR department with support on matters including but not limited to: Recruitment, HR Policies and Procedures, HR Administration, and Industrial Relations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complies with all HS&E policies, procedures, and instructions. This includes correct use of safety devices and protective equipment, prompt reporting of any hazardous situations, which y cannot mselves correct, making necessary changes to eliminate or control hazard, and reporting immediately any accident or injury which arises in course of ir work.
- Takes reasonable care for ir own safety and that of or persons who may be affected by ir acts.
- Support HR department with comprehensive administrative tasks for end-to-end people processes.
- Assist in recruitment process, such as reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Prepare HR reports and analyze data related to recruitment, training, and attendance.
- Address HR-related queries effectively and provide timely follow-ups.
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources/Industrial Relations or a related field.
- A demonstrated passion for safety and a proactive attitude toward ensuring that safety is front of mind for all employees at all times.
Desirable Requirements:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
