Objective of the Consultancy

The consultant will design and layout Jhpiego Tanzania’s Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2024. The report will showcase the organization’s achievements, success stories, and lessons learned, integrating impactful visuals and infographics to inform stakeholders and the broader public.


Scope of Work

Responsibilities

  1. Layout/Design
    • Develop a visually appealing and professional design for the annual report based on Jhpiego’s content, which includes text and photos.
  2. Collaboration with Jhpiego
    • Utilize materials provided by Jhpiego, including photos, texts, and reference documents.
    • Coordinate with Jhpiego technical staff for guidance on technical content.
    • Provide regular updates on the design process.

Jhpiego’s Role

  • Supply all necessary content and reference materials.
  • Offer technical oversight and approval.
  • Identify and consult with a printing vendor.
  • Remunerate the consultant as per the agreed contract.

Deliverables

  • A print-ready electronic copy of the annual report.

Timeline and Duration

  • The consultancy will span 5 days, starting and concluding in February 2025.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital material design or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering similar projects.
  • Advanced degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in multicultural teams.
  • Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in designing high-quality infographics.
  • Fluency in English and Swahili.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience collaborating with local and international organizations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
