Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Execution: Manage interior design projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Client Collaboration: Define project requirements and timelines during the initial briefing phase while translating client needs into practical design concepts.
  • Space Planning: Develop 2D and 3D sketches, layouts, and design presentations.
  • Material Selection: Research, source, and select appropriate materials, furniture, and décor items that align with the project theme and budget.
  • Project Budgeting: Set costs and project fees in accordance with client budgets while ensuring quality standards.
  • Progress Supervision: Oversee project progress, ensuring designs are executed as planned and meet client expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with decorators, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders for a seamless project delivery.
  • Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest design trends, innovations, and best practices in the interior design industry.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven work experience as an Interior Designer or Visual Merchandiser with a solid retail design portfolio.
  • Design Skills: Strong visual design skills with experience in space planning, window displays, and interior layouts.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office tools.
  • Creativity & Detail Orientation: Exceptional creativity with a keen eye for aesthetics, detail, and functionality.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with teams and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with current design trends and merchandising standards.
