Our 9-acre paved yard boasts a capacity of 3,800 Twenty-Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs), stacked 5 high, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency.

Position Overview
As the Procurement Manager, you will spearhead the strategic and operational procurement activities at Hesu Investment Ltd. Your role will include designing and executing effective procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and driving cost efficiency. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent negotiation skills, and a commitment to fostering a high-performing procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a results-driven procurement team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the department.
- Ensure optimal use of organizational systems, such as SAP.
2. Policy Development & Compliance
- Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Assess and manage risks within the procurement processes.
3. Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, addressing any issues effectively.
- Monitor vendor performance and drive continuous improvements.
4. Contract Negotiation & Management
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions in supplier agreements.
- Ensure all contracts comply with legal and regulatory frameworks.
5. Budgeting & Reporting
- Prepare and manage the procurement budget to achieve cost-effective results.
- Conduct cost analysis and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Monitor departmental expenses to align with budgetary objectives.
6. Risk Mitigation & Operational Efficiency
- Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to minimize disruptions.
- Implement strategies to enhance procurement efficiency and cost control.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements.
- Align procurement strategies with the overall business goals of the organization.
8. Additional Duties
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Directors.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Professional Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, with a strong focus on leadership roles.
- Expertise in procurement principles, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
- Proven experience working with procurement software systems like SAP.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing high-performing teams.
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving expertise.
- Familiarity with industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Additional Requirements
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in procurement tools and relevant software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
