Job Overview
NMB Bank Plc is seeking a dedicated Records Management and Corporate Service Desk Analyst to support records management operations and ensure efficient corporate service desk management. This role requires expertise in records retention, compliance, and customer service to maintain seamless internal support.
Key Responsibilities
Records Management
- Develop and implement records management policies and procedures in compliance with banking regulations and data protection laws.
- Oversee document storage, retrieval, and disposal to ensure data security and accessibility.
- Act as a representative of the Records Information Management (RIM) Unit, delivering professional and customer-focused service.
- Advise business units on archiving best practices and facilitate document transfers.
- Organize and lead training sessions on records management policies.
- Conduct periodic audits of document storage areas, report findings, and recommend improvements.
Corporate Service Desk Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer queries and service requests.
- Coordinate with the Corporate Support Team to ensure efficient issue resolution.
- Ensure that all work orders are accurately created, assigned, and prioritized based on service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Support system performance monitoring and implement improvements in service desk operations.
- Prepare and analyze service desk performance reports, identifying trends and improvement areas.
- Maintain equipment functionality by overseeing maintenance programs and upgrades.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in records management systems and archive management.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and data protection laws.
- Ability to create data reports, statistics, and performance charts.
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Sciences, Archives Management, Records Management, Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in records management, preferably within the banking sector.
