VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) invites dynamic and suitably qualified Tanzanians to apply for seven (7) vacant positions at the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC).

1.0 ABOUT TANZANIA PETROLEUM DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (TPDC)

The Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) is the national oil company entrusted with the exploration, development, and production of oil and natural gas resources. The corporation plays a key role in the country’s energy sector, contributing to its economic development.

2.0 GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION

Applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

1. Eligibility:
   • Applicants must be Tanzanian citizens aged 45 years or below.
   • Individuals with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply and should highlight their needs in their applications.
2. Required Documentation:
   • Submit an updated CV with valid contact details, including postal address, email, and phone numbers.
   • Attach certified copies of the following documents:
     • Academic certificates (Postgraduate/Degree/Advanced Diploma/Diploma or Certificates with transcripts).
     • National Form IV and Form VI Examination Certificates.
     • Professional Registration and Training Certificates (if applicable).
     • A valid Birth Certificate.
   • Include a recent passport-size photo.
3. Non-Acceptable Documents:
   • Form IV and Form VI results slips.
   • Testimonials and incomplete academic transcripts.
4. Additional Application Requirements:
   • Applicants employed in the public sector must submit applications through their respective employers.
   • Retirees from the public service are not eligible to apply.
   • Applications should include three reputable referees with valid contact information.
5. Foreign Certificate Verification:
   • Certificates from foreign examination bodies must be verified by NECTA.
   • Professional certificates from international universities or institutions must be validated by TCU or NACTE.
6. Submission Guidelines:
   • Applications should be submitted via the Recruitment Portal at:

7. Deadlines and Notifications:
   • Applications must be submitted by 9th February 2025.
   • Only shortlisted candidates will be notified of the interview schedule.
8. Legal Note:
   • Submission of forged documents or false information will lead to legal action.
