1 . Position: Interns – 10 Positions
BFS Microfinance Limited is looking for 10 dynamic and self-motivated individuals to join our team as Interns at the lake zone areas.
Duties:
- Drive market growth by identifying and engaging new clients.
- Conduct detailed loan appraisals.
- Manage and monitor loan repayment schedules.
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- A passion for the microfinance sector.

2 . Position: Experienced Recovery Officers – 5 Positions Based in Mwanza
Responsibilities;
- Recovery officer is responsible for recoveries of outstanding debts as he/she will be assigned.
- Develop recovery strategy for each case and follow up implementation of the approved strategy to ensure maximum recoveries are made in line with the business strategies.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly report on progress of Recovery and Projections for recoveries.
- Conducting field visits to collect payments or assess collateral.
- Preparing and documenting recovery plans and correspondence.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
General Qualifications;
- At least 2 years of experience as Recovery Officer/Loan officer in the respective post from a reputable institution.
- A minimum of at least Diploma and a maximum of A Bachelor Degree in fields of Business, Finance,
- Economics, Social Sciences and any other related fields
- Should not be less than 20 and not more 35 years of age.
