Hebet Technologies Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements, and supporting overall financial planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide financial analysis to support management decisions.
• Safeguard company assets through proper financial controls.
• Supervise other accounting officers

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least 3 years’ proven experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax laws and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity and attention to detail.
