Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Telecom, Technology, or a related industry.
- Master’s degree is a distinct advantage.
- Experience in a similar role demonstrating outstanding technical, financial, and analytical capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Manage budgets and forecasts for IT and Technical divisions, analyze performance, and support CAPEX/OPEX planning and tracking.
- Strategic Partnering: Translate technical needs into financial insights to guide decisions on key technology initiatives.
- Performance Management: Monitor IT and Technical financial KPIs, analyze OPEX/CAPEX trends, and flag risks to ensure effective spend management.
- Cost Optimization & Vendor Management: Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, vendor negotiations, and technology lifecycle management.
- Risk and Compliance: Ensure financial compliance in technology spending and support audits with accurate documentation of IT investments.
Competencies
- Knowledge of the telecom business.
- Experience with budgeting, planning, and forecasting tools.
- Strategic thinking and negotiation ability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
