Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to oversee human resources functions across our multi-sector organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the unique HR needs within construction, logistics, and microfinance industries, playing a pivotal role in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent while ensuring legal compliance and promoting a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies tailored to each industry.
- Develop and implement sector-specific HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage performance appraisal systems, employee engagement initiatives, and training programs.
- Administer competitive compensation packages and benefits programs aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, labor laws, and financial regulations.
- Maintain HR metrics, analyze trends, and generate reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion across all business units.
- Supervise and mentor the HR team, encouraging professional development.
- Collaborate closely with operational leaders in construction, logistics, and microfinance to address sector-specific HR challenges.
- Promote a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field;
- Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, HRBP) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, with exposure to construction, logistics, and microfinance industries highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, safety standards, financial compliance, and industry-specific regulations.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and relevant HR tools.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills to interpret HR data and develop actionable insights.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset.
