Position: Process Analyst
Location: Tanzania

Role Purpose

The Process Analyst will empower operating teams by driving efficiency, ensuring accountability, and maintaining operational integrity. This role involves creating and improving processes and systems, combining data-driven insights with project and stakeholder management skills to support operational success.

Key Responsibilities

Gain an in-depth understanding of business needs and processes.
Collaborate with business leaders to analyze current processes, identify gaps, and plan for future improvements.
Enhance efficiency through process mapping and pinpointing opportunities for optimization.
Design systems for operating teams, primarily using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Provide training and initial support to operational teams until they achieve self-sufficiency.
Design and execute experiments to quantitatively determine best practices and processes.

Qualifications

Required

Proficiency in SQL.
Strong skills in spreadsheet management.

Preferred

University degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
Experience in dashboarding and visualization tools.
Knowledge of Python.

Your Journey as a Process Analyst

1st Two Weeks: Learning the Business

Participate in shadowing sessions across various departments.
Observe operating teams to understand workflows and how different functions are interconnected.

2nd Two Weeks: Learning the Trade

Work alongside other process analysts to support system development and optimization.
Engage with the analytics team to refine data analysis skills and familiarize yourself with GCP.
