Location: Moshi

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our petrol stations, with added responsibility for managing financial records and reporting. This hybrid role requires a candidate with strong leadership abilities and a solid background in Accounting or Finance. The successful candidate will ensure smooth station operations, maximize profitability, and maintain accurate financial reporting across all sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient day-to-day operations of multiple petrol station sites.
  • Analyze sales reports, fuel inventory, cash reports and margins to optimize profitability.
  • Lead and support station managers and staff in achieving performance targets.
  • Develop strategies for increasing sales, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with fuel suppliers and make sure that fuel reach to its destinations as required

Accounting duties:

  • Monitor and manage financial performance, budgets, and cost controls
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Monitor accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare monthly payroll as per the company policy  
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operations or financial management, preferably within the fuel or retail sector.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple locations simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with fuel station operations is a strong advantage.
