Position: Sales Supervisor 

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania 

About Sava-Tech Financial Services Limited 

Sava-Tech Financial Services is a microfinance private company duly licensed  by the Bank of Tanzania to engage in microfinance operations within Tanzania  Mainland, which currently owns and operates a trading name Sava Loan, Sava  Loan is an online lending platform that aims to provide affordable financial  services to African consumers and small businesses who have limited access to  financial products from traditional banks 

Position Summary:  

Sales Supervisor will lead our sales team and contribute to the continued growth  of our business. The ideal candidate will oversee daily sales operations, coach  team members, and ensure exceptional customer service while driving  performance targets and maintaining operational excellence. 

Key Responsibilities 

Sales Support & Execution 

  • Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve daily, weekly, and  monthly targets 
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular coaching  and feedback 
  • Handle escalated customer inquiries and ensure high service standards
  • Assist in setting sales goals and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates
  • Ensure the team adheres to company policies, procedures, and  operational guidelines 
  • Coordinate with management on promotional activities and sales  campaigns 
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales staff.

Market & Product Knowledge 

  • Gain in-depth understanding of SAVA’s products, services, and value  proposition
  • Study market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with the sales and  marketing teams. 

Customer Relationship Building 

  • Provide basic customer service support under supervision. 
  • Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Assist in resolving customer queries and escalating issues when necessary.

Training & Development 

  • Participate in structured training programs covering: 

o Sales techniques 

o Negotiation skills 

o Product knowledge 

o CRM and reporting tools 

  • Shadow senior sales team members to learn real-world selling strategies.

5. Reporting & Documentation 

  • Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales activities and learning progress.
  • Track sales performance data and help in generating sales analytics or  dashboards. 

Required Qualifications. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or  related fields 
  • Proven experience in sales, with at least 1–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to motivate a team and work effectively in a fast-paced  environment 
  • Solid understanding of sales techniques and customer service principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM systems is an added  advantage 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM is a  plus. 
  • High motivation, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
