Event Management Services for the Commemoration of World Tuberculosis Day 2026 in Tanzania
About MKUTA
Mwitikio wa Kudhibiti Kifua Kikuu na Ukimwi Tanzania (MKUTA) is a Non-Governmental Organization in Tanzania providing Community-based TB/HIV health education, active case finding, contact tracing and promoting access to essential treatment among the general populations and Key and vulnerable populations.
Background
With support from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria through the Ministry of Health and Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC), MKUTA in collaboration with the National TB and Leprosy Programme (NTLP) invites qualified and experienced event management firms to submit proposals to organize and manage the national commemoration of World Tuberculosis Day (World TB Day) 2026.
World TB Day is commemorated globally on 24 March each year to raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB), mobilize political commitment, and strengthen community engagement in the fight against TB. The 2026 national commemoration in Tanzania will bring together government officials, development partners, civil society organizations, TB survivors, media, and community representatives.
MKUTA Tanzania seeks to contract a professional event management company to support the planning, coordination, and implementation of a high-quality national commemoration event.
Scope of the Assignment
The selected firm will be responsible for:
- Event conceptualization and planning
- Event branding, stage and venue design including printing of tear drop, roll-up, back drop stage banners
- Provision of audio-visual equipment such as PA systems, and technical support
- Media engagement and publicity including securing TV spots, radio spots, radio mention, and media coverage sessions.
- Event documentation including photography and videography
Eligibility Criteria
Interested firms must:
- Be legally registered in Tanzania
- Have at least 3 years of experience organizing national-level events • Demonstrate experience working with government, NGOs, or international donors • Possess adequate technical and logistical capacity
- Provide evidence of successful organization of similar events

- Portfolio of relevant assignments
- At least three professional references
