Key responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, dust, and clean floors, surfaces, and work areas to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
- Clean milling areas, offices, warehouses, toilets, and remaining assigned areas on a daily basis.
- Clean and maintain washrooms and ensure they remain hygienic and properly supplied.
- Report shortages of cleaning materials, damaged cleaning equipment, or areas requiring extra attention to the supervisor.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the workplace.
- Collect, separate where required, and dispose of waste safely and in accordance with established procedures.
- Identify and promptly report spills, hazards, damaged facilities, or remaining conditions that could affect workplace safety or hygiene.
- Use cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment correctly and safely.
