ITM Tanzania Limited is looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead its HR department. The successful candidate will provide both strategic and operational leadership across all core HR functions, aligning human capital initiatives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s vision and business objectives.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent acquisition processes.
- Promote employee engagement and maintain a healthy workplace culture.
- Manage performance appraisal systems and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Ensure legal compliance with all labor and employment laws.
- Coordinate staff training and professional development programs.
- Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.
- Analyze HR data and present reports to support strategic decisions.
- Drive change management and support HR digital transformation efforts.
- Mentor and guide the HR team to deliver high-quality services.
- Create, update, and enforce company HR policies.
- Liaise with labor offices and other regulatory authorities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Tanzanian labor laws, HR best practices, and organizational development.
- Proven leadership in managing HR in medium to large-sized organizations.
