Engineering Technician (Mechanical – 1 position)

Duties and responsibilities

Assisting in the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery, equipment, buildings, and utility systems.
Optimizing production efficiency through proper adjustment and monitoring of machinery and equipment.
Maintaining equipment maintenance records and logs.
Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities.
Diagnosing and reporting equipment malfunctions and recommending corrective actions.
Supporting engineering projects and maintenance programs.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Ensuring compliance with Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), ISO 22000:2018 standards, and occupational safety requirements.
Performing any other lawful duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications and experience

Must hold an Ordinary Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Mechanical Engineering or related field from a recognized institution.
Must have at least (3) years of relevant mechanical engineering working experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
