We're looking for a qualified and passionate Officer - Systems and Applications Developer.
Key responsibilities
- St Jude's is funded by generous supporters from around the world who make our mission of giving bright, poor Tanzanian students a free, quality education possible.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Applications team to resolve user support requests and continuously improve existing systems.

- Maintaining, troubleshoot, and improve existing applications so that reliable performance.

- A minimum of a Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

- Experience developing web applications using PHP, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, and relational databases.
- Test, debug, and review software so that quality and reliability.
- Supporting system integrations with internal and third-party applications.
- Experience with software testing, debugging, and version control is an advantage.
- Ability to gather user requirements and translate them into software solutions.
- Developing clean, secure and maintainable software following School development standards.
- Work with departments across the school to understand business requirements and develop practical software solutions.
- Good understanding of software development principles, databases, and system integration.
- Experience troubleshooting software issues and maintaining business applications.
