Raising The Village (RTV) is a rapidly growing international development organization dedicated to ending ultra-poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Job Overview.
- Tool Development & Survey Design: Help design data collection instruments, performance measurement tools, data management guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Dashboards & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to turn raw data into compelling visualization products for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Travel Required: Up to 30%.

- Working inside the VENN department-the organization's data and technology backbone-you will collaborate with Program, MEL (Monitoring, Evaluation, and Applied Learning), and Product Development teams to build robust analytics workflows, support impact evaluation, and transform complex datasets into actionable insights.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to uncover trends, identify key drivers of performance, synthesize evidence, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Data Quality Assurance & Governance: Manage end-to-end data lifecycles-covering data cleaning, validation, storage, and QA protocols-so that data integrity, reliability, and governance compliance.
- The Data Analyst will support RTV in collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting high-quality data to guide strategic decision-making, optimize program performance, and track impact.
- Operating across Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, and North America, RTV leverages custom software tools, community implementation, and advanced data analytics to deliver sustainable impact.
- Impact Evaluation & Research: Assist in designing evaluation methodologies, sampling strategies, and analytical frameworks to measure program outcomes and track poverty alleviation impact.
- Having reached over 1,000,000 lives since 2012, RTV aims to assist 1 million individuals annually by 2027.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of practical experience in data analytics, data management, M&E, or research.
