Role overview

Key responsibilities
- Operating with a vision of creating healthier and empowered communities, ACF works alongside governments, healthcare providers, and local partners to expand access to essential HIV/AIDS care and treatment across the globe.
- Supporting the linkage of clients to healthcare facilities and treatment services.
- Reports To: Regional Program Manager / Country Operations Manager.
- The Field Officer will support the implementation of ACF's HIV/AIDS healthcare and community intervention programs at the regional level by coordinating field activities, engaging communities, strengthening health facility partnerships, and ensuring effective service delivery.

- Building and maintain strong relationships with local government authorities, health facilities, community leaders, and partner organizations.
- As part of the expansion of its Tanzania Country Program, ACF is inviting qualified, passionate, and dedicated individuals to apply for the position of Field Officer.
- Identify challenges affecting project implementation and recommending practical solutions.
- Supporting monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities.
- Making sure compliance with ACF policies, donor requirements, and ethical standards.
- Carrying out community mobilization and awareness campaigns on HIV prevention, testing, treatment, and stigma reduction.
- Arranging community meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Requirements
- Languages: Fluency in the two English and Kiswahili.
- Community engagement skills.
- Key Skills: Strong report writing, documentation, and interpersonal skills; computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
