- CCBRT as well actively prevents lifelong disabilities via extensive Maternal and Newborn Healthcare (MNHC) activities, covering obstetric fistula repairs.
- Examine and treat patients in the two outpatient and inpatient departments.
- Taking part in community outreach activities.
- Work in shifts, covering rotating on-call duties, night shifts, and weekends.
- Key Roles & Responsibilities.
- Carrying out minor surgical procedures and assist senior surgeons while major operations.
- Run scheduled clinics and perform screening of patients.
- As Tanzania's largest local provider of disability and rehabilitation services, CCBRT is committed to empowering people with disabilities and their families, improving their quality of life, and ensuring access to medical and rehabilitative treatment.
- Experience Required: 1 - 2 Years.
- To strengthen its Clinical Division, CCBRT is seeking a dynamic Medical Doctor interested in volunteering, offering broad practitioner services in support of prevention and early detection of disabilities.
- Admit patients to the ward and prepare operation lists.
- Update Senior Medical Doctors/Specialists on conditions of patients due for discharge.
- The Maternity and Newborn Wing serves as a referral centre for high-risk and emergency deliveries in Dar es Salaam and the Eastern Zone of Tanzania.
Requirements
- Minimum GPA of 2.7 at the undergraduate level.
- Selection Process: Written assessments are part of the selection process. Assessment might begin immediately upon receipt of suitable applications.

- Qualifications: Bachelor Degree / Master's Degree.
- Education: Holder of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized institution with successful completion of a one-year internship.
- Registration & Licensing: Registered with the Tanganyika Medical Council as a Medical Doctor, holding a valid practitioner license.
- Attributes: Proactive attitude, strong eagerness to learn, client-focused, and a collaborative team worker.
