Job Summary.
The Regional HIV/TB Clinical Coordinator provides technical leadership and coordination for the implementation, quality improvement, and scale-up of comprehensive HIV and TB services under the EpiC project in Tanzania. The position provides strategic and technical guidance to strengthen the quality, coverage, integration, and effectiveness of HIV/TB services across supported Police and Prisons (PnP) and public health facilities in the assigned region.
Key responsibilities

- Making sure and maintain good working relationships and communication with CHMT, the health facility in charge and remaining health facilities staff in the district.

- Collaborate with the district monitoring and evaluation team to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program interventions.
- Personal Computer/Laptop, Microsoft applications (i.e., Office 365, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), cell phone/mobile technology, and standard office equipment.
- Providing technical assistance, facilitate, and monitor the development and implementation of TB-HIV integration activities at the district and site levels.
- Demonstrated experience in program monitoring, data analysis, reporting, and use of data for service improvement.
- Master's degree in public health (MPH) or international equivalent is a useful extra.
- Ability to lift/move up to 5 lbs.
- Ability to identify operational and programmatic challenges, conduct root-cause analysis, develop practical solutions, solve problems and implement corrective actions to improve program performance.

- The incumbent leads and supports performance monitoring and continuous quality improvement using program data supportive supervision, clinical audits, mentorship, technical review meetings, to identify service delivery gaps, guides corrective actions, documents best practices, and contributes to regional planning and performance evaluation to achieve program targets and improve service quality and health outcomes. The position works closely with regional and district health authorities, facility teams, PnP counterparts and remaining stakeholders to strengthen coordination, implementation and self-reliance of HIV/TB services.
