Role Overview & Responsibilities

The Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) will drive client acquisition and business development across Dar es Salaam, focusing on securing supply contracts for fresh produce, beverages, and thermal paper rolls across hospitality, corporate, and retail markets.

Prospecting & Lead Generation: Target and research commercial accounts (hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, corporate offices, and catering vendors).
Client Outreach: Execute direct field visits, cold outreach, and product presentations to secure business opportunities.
Account Qualification: Evaluate customer volume needs, delivery cycles, and procurement specifications to deliver tailored supply proposals.
Pipeline & Relationship Management: Maintain lead records, manage follow-up schedules, and cultivate relationships with procurement managers and corporate buyers.
Performance Targets: Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly KPIs for account onboarding and sales conversion.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience: 1 to 2 years of practical experience in B2B sales or business development.
- Experience in FMCG, food & beverage distribution, or commercial supplies is an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and sales tracking/CRM software.
Core Competencies: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and active listening skills; high integrity; self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
