Key responsibilities
- Partner with DevOps, Quality Assurance (QA), and Infrastructure teams so that smooth application deployments.
- Building and integrate REST APIs and relational database structures (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Linux Administration & Operational Automation: Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux servers (Ubuntu, Red Hat, CentOS, Rocky Linux).
- Managing source code via Git and participate in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) workflows.
- Dedicated to delivering reliable, secure, and scalable solutions to clients across East Africa, CCT leverages cutting-edge open-source technologies, Linux architectures, and cloud infrastructures.
- Putting in place system-level security controls and Linux security best practices.
- Software Development & Code Governance: Design, develop, test, and maintain robust software applications and web services.
- Organization Overview.
- Developing shell scripts (Bash) and automation tools to streamline operational workflows.
- System Monitoring & Continuous Delivery: Monitor application performance, resolve production issues, and provide bug fixes.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to SDLC best practices.

Requirements
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
